The
Pennant is one of those bars that you can roll into and feel comfortable
whether you're by yourself, in a group of 30, wearing flip flops and a
bathing suit, or a full 3 piece suit. The servce is always good (even
on their busy nights, Thursdays, when the bar has at least 4 bartenders),
the bartenders are pretty nice, and the drinks are strong. Some nights
they staff a 5th bartender and open up a beer and limited liquor bar in
the back.
Pool and darts in the back is a great addition, and nothing can EVER beat
a hangover breakfast/lunch/drinking session on the rooftop when it's nice
and sunny out. Literally sit out there alllll day. The Pennant is always
a great beginning and end to the night when you're coming to or going

What can you say about The Pennant? What does it have to
offer, besides the excellent and friendly service, beautiful bartenders,
great food, and a fun relaxed atmosphere? Picture in your mind the perfect
beach bar, and that is what you have at The Pennant. Thursday nights is
college night, D.J. there on Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons on the
roof top deck bar. Need a good place to watch sports? Well the Pennant has
more t.v.'s than you can watch, and during football season, every game is
played as the bar has the NFL package as well. All this and right across
the street from the beach. So this summer, after laying out or a long surfing
session, come in a chill at the Pennant, South Mission's favorite hangout.
